British Embassy Reception for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Trust's 25th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø in Bogota, Colombia
The British Ambassador Lindsay Croisdale-Appleby and his wife Barbara, hosted a reception at his Residence in Bogota for the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Trust to recognise our 25th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø and to celebrate the start of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s demining operations in Antioquia department, Colombia.
In his speech, the Ambassador welcomed the start of demining as an important part of the peace process in Colombia. Guy Willoughby 91³Ô¹ÏÍø CEO, Grant Salisbury 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Programme Manager and Daniel Avila PAICMA’s Director (Programa Presidencial para la Accion Integral contra Minas Antipersonal) also introduced 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s programmes and the need for large scale clearance operations across the country.
The evening was attended by around 170 guests from Bogota’s diplomatic and Governmental community, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø presented our 25th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø photographic exhibition which is travelling around the capital cities where 91³Ô¹ÏÍø operates. The exhibition consists of 15 panels showing the work of the organisation around the globe and the benefits it brings to peace and prosperity of communities.
