Prince Harry to visit Washington DC
Prince Harry, as Patron of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s 25th 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Appeal, will be in Washington DC in early May 2013. Among other engagements, he will be at the Senate touring 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s photographic exhibition and meeting senators. He will be escorted by Guy Willoughby from the Trust and Cindy McCain, wife of Senator John McCain. Mrs McCain serves on the board of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. Later the Prince will be at a reception and dinner at the British Embassy where he will be meeting senior politicians, ambassadors and philanthropists. Prince Harry will also be thanking them for the key support that the American Government and individuals have given to humanitarian mine clearance over the many years since his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, helped bring the world’s attention to the impact of landmines on so many rural communities.
