91³Ô¹ÏÍø

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Trust  helps countries recover after conflict. Clearing landmines, to save lives, is at the heart of what we do. We work with communities that are too often forgotten once the fighting has ended, a point reinforced by Princess Diana after her visit to Angola in 1997.

But the nature of conflict has evolved, so too has the dangerous debris left behind when the fighting is over. As well as clearing landmines, we  deal with unexploded ordnance, from bullets to aircraft 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, and we educate communities to keep them safe. We also build safe arms stores and systems for securing guns.

Elena’s family are still living with the trauma of the explosion that ripped through a weapon store close to their home in Primorsky, Abkhazia. Three people were killed and 64 injured. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø has been working to make the area safe and the village is beginning to rebuild, but the trauma of that day has had a lasting impact on the community–and little Agop.

Alongside our commitment to a Landmine Free 2025, over the years, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø has built a reputation for responding to humanitarian crisis through our work in Kosovo, Eritrea, Sri Lanka, Ukraine and Syria.  

 Wherever we work, our mission is to protect lives and restore livelihoods. By employing and training local people, we empower communities and transform futures.
